@spoonlamp I wrote that comment over two years ago and I admit that I was wrong in my assessment. I have had a chance to take a good look at the jumping site for myself and it actually look pretty easy to jump from there without any problems. I have also learnt my lesson about making any comments on YouTube, I simply do not do it anymore. I think that YouTube is actually better off without my views. This post is an exception as I felt I should reply to your post and set the record straight.

@orkneytim I suggest you take a good long look at yourself in the mirror. If you're trying to pass a message about something then do it and quit with the "over-the-top-grown-up talk" - next you'll be telling them they'll "rue the day"... If you've been to the Gloup you'll know it's not that high really, the sides are sheer and it continues like that to the bottom (trust me, I've swum down) and they're all wearing wet-suits. So chill out.

Decent!! orkneytim does voice the general middleaged consensus but life's about havin a bit of fun eh...an that looked fun! Most people doing these jumps look at depth, currents, height, their weight/impact etc to make sure it's safe enough.
