  • What a shame we are now watching crapwagons instead of these beautiful, great sounding, and fast cars.

  • people just need to learn to like change. Id rather have 1 decent series than 2 bankrupt series..

  • @RIEKSONE yea...same here. I dont watch much of V8 Supercar. Cant really catch any of the races when they pop on.

  • @6V92TA

personally i watch everything nascar , f1 , irl, alms, and v8 supercar

  • @bluejayw how bout champcar buy irl. NOW WERE TALKING!

  • we need to watch this more than fuckin Nascar!

  • IRL = "I Race Lemons"

  • Tony George sucks, along with his racing series!

  • @tobats2 it sucks, lol

  • @superblackser Thank you

  • @tobats2 - good question, if you want to see racing in person, we're pretty much out of luck here in the US for F1. CART (later Champ Car) at its peak was good quality road course racing with 800hp FI cars and good fields with quality drivers. The Tony George IRL split hurt both series badly, and questionable management, declining sponsors and attendance , higher costs, killed Champ Car. IRL, without the Indy 500, they'd be in the grave next door.

  • @simoncase - Portland has put millions USD into the course and pit facilities. Their biggest problem at PIR is the pavement taking any damage near June when the race was traditionally held - in the hotter weather the cars do a lot of damage - and it's hard to get it to set up in time. Now attendance is so poor due to lack of quality racing and promotion, the City of Portland won't put money into the track. last several Champ Car series races were big money losers.
