@yolandasotolopez i am using a J sized hook and all i can think of is that maybe i need a different yarn. I love your videos though and i cant thank you enough for your helpful replies

thanks for the reply...but I figured out why it was "warping" ... I was doing the front post dc in the same post that I was crocheting into the stitch ... I did finish the hat and it came out beautiful. I have subscribed and have shared your page with a few friends so hopefully your subcriptions will grow a little.

I'm confused about row 5 can you post it separately?

Can I use a bulky yarn to make this?

@seabrax1024 - I've never tried it in bulky. You might want to use a smaller hook if you are using the bulky yarn otherwise it might come out too big

i have succeeded in making this hat once with a fuzzy yarn and it turned out great but when i use any regular yarn (simply soft) the beanie comes out in like a doll size. why does this happen and how can i fix it because i dont want i big fuzzy beret

@widedwondergirl - are you using the correct size hook? Maybe you are crocheting a little tighter. Try using a larger size hook. Is this for an adult? Try a size J or K hook.

Hi Yonalda...I am a beginner and although I can follow the your patterns pretty easily I find that my circles don't lay flat the way yours seem to..could you suggest what I may be doing wrong. I got to the point where I started to do the front double crochet and then it started waving up and not laying flat. I have pulled it out too many times and am getting frustrated. But I really want to make this hat I LOVE IT !!

@sherrymargo Try completing it, it may work itself out the heavier it gets.
