The video is compressed at 3.38MB. This is from original uncompressed footage taken in real time. The sapphire is virtually completely inert under UV-A. With time, parts of it become more or less colorless when it emits the UV over time before returning to a more normal color. You can see the stone more or less vanish without the UV lamp after removal with a few exceptions as illustrated in the video. After reviewing this video, near the end I noticed the outline of something from a like video with ambient light present that outlines what appears to be another crystal I refered to under 95x. I am not 100% certain, but this is the only time I've noticed it and I am wondering if it's the same square shaped artifact I observed in 2 other still images, and it's more defined after UV exposure for some reason as it tends to absorb spectra for a longer time, thus making it more visible under lesser magnification. It's wild.
