  • @mechmusician lol fuel economy. if you're going to tune something for top end power of course it's not going to have low end power right away. just like all turbo cars. it would be beneficial yes but the cool factor is backfiring and rough idling. and you can do a lot with VVT as well. v-tec is not the best thing ever made.

  • @FearSyndr0me This engine already takes 4500RPM to peak the torque. Moving the powerband that high would mean even more throttle lag. Even with sequential turbos. It would be worthless to actually drive. You'd need to do a holeshot to hit anywhere near the powerband at launch.

  • @ChillaxedJosh Both mean that the car is not burning fuel efficiently, meaning less power and less fuel economy.

  • @mechmusician but who doesn't like rough idling and backfiring? it sounds more badass.

  • 5500rpm... wtf. Why dosent this thing scream to 8k.

  • Great engine aside from one thing. It needs variable valve lift control, not just timing. Variable lift would get rid of that backfiring and rough idling. Then it would be the perfect 4cylinder.

  • I love this car

  • sweet

  • Nice man
