  • I like the line "privilege is all about lack of equality". Reminds me of that scene in The Color Purple where Oprah gets (cowardly) beat down. Alice Walker understood the privilege concept.

  • Do you really know, or want to know what the concept of being privileged really is?

  • Privilege seems to be synonymous with power. So they best way to come to terms with ones' own privilege/power is to use what you have responsibly and abandon it if it hurts another persons' well-being. Unfortunately this is often easier said than done.

  • Ola Samantha from sunny southern cal, I find that privilege is controlled by others (whoever others are) and as nice as it is to be given, its miserable to have taken away. I believe acceptance (of ones self, love, energies, others, etc) is more crucial in ones (and globally) well being and comes from inside so it cant be given or taken. Acceptance is, and provides a path to enrichment of ones life. Maybe a good topic for next time if not already covered.

  • @Glyvxx That's not at all what I said; I agreed with you. But way to martyr yourself.

  • Its a great video samantha.I always look forward to you video's.

  • down my throat that's when i will take offense.

  • Honestly you can say the same thing about republicans. They can start whining and complaining about things to. If your going to talk about the race card both sides have played in one form or another. The thing i don't agree with is when one group of people feel they are entitled to judge and condemn people for believing or living in a different way then what means the norm of most societies. Especially when it comes to religious groups. I am not against any religion but when they try to shove -

  • Well liberals typically blame the following culprits....

I'm a Republican white/Persian from the bay area...I'm proud of both my Catholic and Muslim ancestry. I accept that the liberals think different from myself and I accept them.

However, when they start bringing up stuff about how the redneck fascist redneck right wingers are taking away their rights. STFU. Stop playing the victim and stop playing the race card.

I support gay rights. But nothing more...rights quickly become entitlements.

  • @Glyvxx Honestly Saying people who are liberal have more privilege over someone who is conservative is ridiculous. It's a political point of view. If you do choose to base privilege on that they may only have more because majority of a group wanted it that way. The the childish name calling is pretty immature and ignorant. Everyone has the right to an opinion the freedom to express it.

You win? When did this become a competition?
