NOW HIRING -- Must Speak Spanish

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has filed suit on behalf of three fired white workers against the owners of a hotel.

"The lawsuit, filed last week in federal court in Denver, claims the owners of the Hampton Inn franchise in Craig fired the workers because they are white and "it was their impression that such workers are lazy," the case filing states." according to the article.

In this economy, if a corporation cannot outsource the work overseas, they'll merely bring overseas to the work place. Is this lawsuit really news, or is this hotel just one of the first to get caught in the last 25 years? If you walk into any fast food restaurant or retail store in states like California, hiring discrimination becomes obvious -- almost in-your-face.

Yet, if a Caucasian or Black worker is denied a job against a Hispanic immigrant, the EEOC rarely takes action. "I've been doing this work for 30- some years, and I've never filed a case like this," EEOC regional attorney Mary Jo O'Neill told The Associated Press referring to the hotel lawsuit. Oh really?

We can only conclude this is allowed to continue because the corporations have our public servants in their pockets, or contribute large amounts to their campaigns.

Companies that have been caught hiring illegal alien workers quite often get them not only from Mexico but from some of the poorest third-world countries, such as Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.
