I recently got this refurbished macbook air 1.6 80 hard drive from the apple online store about 2 weeks ago. This is the rev. A version of the macbook air as you can see by the speed of the 2GB ram which is 2 GB 667MHz DDR2 as with the rev B macbook air ram speed which is at 2 GB 1066MHz DDR3. I heard that the rev. A macbook air had problems playing high definition video so I did a test with a 720p trailer from apple's website. The video seem to play perfectly with no high speed fan revving up or high cpu temps. The trailer is Fast and Furious. Sorry for the no audio...

  • I also bought a refurbished macbook air about a week ago and have been loving it.

  • Yea they're pretty nice. I havent had any issues with it either. The real test is yet to come once school starts hehe.

  • @flipside217 i bought the latest one a few months ago and its very good but it gets hot fast and when it gets hot it gets slow

  • @Jshulman1995 Yea it gets hot when your charging it and watching a video at the same time. I have the very first MBA that came out. Been using using it for about a year and a half and never really had any issues with it. But its not my primary computer, its only used for internet and school work.

  • @nowaneer yup the heat is and issue i dont recommend the mba

  • wat condition was it in

  • I got mine about a month ago. It is also a refurb. Has anyone tried Coolbook yet? I wonder if it is worth $10? It does keep it kind of cool.

  • mine is had major problems I am on the 3rd mobo

  • have you watched a longer video or hooked up to an external monitor? I'm thinking of getting one, but am a bit put off by reports of excessive heat. Thanks!

  • how is basic movie editing with imovie on here? nothing big, just basic cutting video, adding some effects and that kind of stuff.

  • Im getting this soon! cant wait!
