I just wanted to say thank you so much for all of the information! I really appreciate all of you on here sharing what you're going through with the whole process.
I'm 23, too, and I'm looking ahead to possibly going to TUJ. In any case, I just want to get to Japan some how. :) But school on top of that would be perfect.
Again thank you!! :D

Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for your email and for planning way ahead!
For your visa for next fall, you should start applying around March of next year. The financial documents you need to submit must be within 3 months of the application deadline (so from March 1st on) so even if you applied now, you'd have to resend the financial documents to me again in March.

hey actually the final application for the visa is june 1st. you might want to apply around the beginning of may or earlier. You don't get your COE until you pay your advance payment (15m yen) or somewhere around there.

ya that's what I thought to till I asked my counselor and she said that you cant apply till around June first, because the COE is only good for 3 months. and you have to have your Visa and be in Japan by the end of the three months. I will talk to her again about it again just to make sure, But I think thats what she had said. But on the Info track that is all I know as of right now. :S
BTW thanks for posting! :D
