Excellent progress in 7 months - if you want even more inspiration check out the BERLIN PHILHARMONIC HORN ENSEMBLE vids on youtube with stefan dohr - they are fantastic

That is very good progress for only 7 months, some tips, don't try to buzz into the horn too much, buzzing isn't everything. Instead, use your air better, keep the embouchure firm (not pinched!) around the corners and use plenty of air, a soft and broad stream in the low register with a more open aperture, and a faster, more centered stream as you go higher with a somewhat more closed aperture. Keep it up!

Nice progress. What is your current comfortable range (written pitch)?
The treble C will come with practice, but there's also the low register to work on. That is the area where I always had some difficulty. You should work on playing lower until you are comfortable with the G or F below middle C. Given your challenges with the high notes ("odd" parts), you may have better luck as an "even" hornist (low parts) so give 'em a shot.

My comfortable range is from the G below middle C to the B or C above middle. But I can actually go quite low; down to the bottom C and beyond - just need more control. I have recently been trying a new mouthpiece with a narrower bore, which has helped a great deal with the higher range; but more on that later...
