the newer tv's are nice led, lcd and plasma but they just dont last long like the older tv's .. its a shame that i have a tv from the 90's it it out lasted one of my tv i got in 2007.

@kvsp714 It really depends on what you'll be doing with your display. The consensus is that plasma displays are better, but LCD displays, particularly those that use LED backlights, are closing the gap. Plasma has better blacks and perform better with motion, while LCD displays are brighter, lighter and aren't subject to burn-in (although this problem has been largely eliminated with modern plasma displays).

I've got a 40'' Sony Bravia Full-HD....it's not that big, but it delivers awesome picture :)
