Vendors then can add specific, more enhanced capabilities that would work best within their equipment and thus enforce competition and diferentiation. But without the core set of features working across vendors, video won't achieve massive adoption.

    I would like to vote YES however i would not like to re-enable my facebook account...

    So a big YES to video interoperability but still no to facebook.
