For every single eagle hit on the PGA TOUR this year, Stanford Financial is making a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - where no child is refused treatment no matter his or her family's ability to pay - and they are making the donation in the name of the players who make the eagles. Nice program

  • it feels wrong

  • I guess the $320,000 raised so far for St. Jude is just an overall bad idea. Looks like Vijay himself is also making a personal donation of $1,000 per eagle he hits.

    Just feels wrong...hmmm

  • I hate this commercial, it makes it seems if Vj misses this putt children will die

  • I suggest making a donation to St. Jude then maybe you too can help make a difference in children's around the world who are fighting cancer.

  • I like this fat kid idea, but who who be responsible for tallying the Twinkies? The fat kid himself, or the fat parents?

  • This commercial is pretty ridiculous and does kind of give the implication that if Vijay misses the putt, then a donation isn't made. How stupid is that to rely on some famous dude's golf swing in order for kids who legitimately need and deserve help to get it? If we want to be ridiculous and really raise some money, lets say that money is donated every time a fat kid eats a twinkie. That would be much more often and just as dumb of a concept.

  • It's good PR for anyone that's involved with helping someone else, I still think it could have been done with more taste. Vj is an athlete I'm sure his agent just told him where to show up. I will increase my donation 2% every time an eagle is made, sorry kids

  • i guess of course, if it was good enough for Vijay Singh to get involved with - he must have not felt that way. Congrats on your annual donation - hopefully you'll increase it in 2007 like I did.

  • im all for st Jude and i do make a donation every year for the last 5. I am also free to my opinion that this commercial makes it look like kids with cancer will die if he misses this putt, i hope you are not the director. If so u suck

  • I guess you must have the sound down...as it says that "now an Eagle on the Tour can help make a difference"
