Mad Science and partners treat hundreds of kids to an afternoon of scien-terrific fun
Over 500 kids and kids-at-heart celebrate as Mad Science turns 8!

Mad Science-Philippines, the countrys premier provider of science edutainment (educational entertainment), together with its partners, sparked kids (and kids-at-hearts) fun, imaginative learning during the Mad Science Mall Invasion. The FREE event last April 11, 2010 at the Shangri-La Mall in Mandaluyong is the companys treat as it celebrates 8 vibrant years in the country.

With the Mad Science Mall Invasion, kids, parents and other guests got a taste of the Mad Science experience. They spent the afternoon making gooey Slime, bouncy Superballs, mind-boggling Magic Mud (which is both solid and liquid) and fascinating dino tooth casts. They also got to watch fun demonstrations of science concepts. Astroboy Arvin gave boys and girls a bubble bath as he explained that dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide. Lightning Luis showed the principles of concentrated air pressure using Bernoullis Paperwork. Kinetic Kerwin explained Newtons laws of motion using the Mad Science Rocket Car.

The event became even more festive with the participation of event partners. Lets Paint the Town Red decked the venue in fabulous balloon décor. iFlick Foto let guests horse around in their photo booth for free. Fruit Magic treated everyone to refreshing free drinks. KFC, Enchanted Kingdom, and Big & Small Co. raffled off GCs, while Animaland gave away cute stuffed toys as prizes. Del Monte Frutini also gave away gift packs to kid volunteers, and Spin and Orange Juice Clothing Companies, as well as Dermplus Sun Protection and Off Lotion were also present to give away everything from discount coupons to actual products. Everyone also took home with copies of KZone and Smart Parenting magazines, and of The Philippines Star Kids Only.

Truly, the Mad Science Mall Invasion became an afternoon filled with much Mad Science fun, and Jervy Santiago of Paradigms and Poses was there to capture every moment of it. With the success of the event, the company is set to do more similar initiatives. Because wherever theres a child, Mad Science will be there to spark fun, imaginative learning!
