Americans have been lied to by our own government so many times about WHY we needed to go into or stay in Iraq that we don't know what the hell to believe any more, but one thing is certain... 80% or more of us who are fed up with the lies and recognized that we've BEEN lied to want to bring our troops home and be done with it.

So, for those of you who think all Americans are warmongering idiots, NO, that would be the people in power over the past 8 years who have lied to us, put forth all sorts of propoganda bullshit, and played numerous con jobs on the public to STAY in power. I think McCain would simply continue the bullshit, but people voting for him are unaware of the truth, or so deadset against Obama out of fear of his Islamic heritage due to this war that they are willing to risk McCain in office.

Our first strike was supposed to have involved "smart bombs" and similar weapons to pinpoint military and government targets, as well as water and power, at night to minimize casualties and simply shut the city and the dictatorship down. Ground troops came in and were supposed to clean up fast so we could begin administering aide to those in need of it. Once Saddam was caught however, Bush decided to use 9-11 to further invade the country and that's when Americans got pissed off.

For years Saddam violated our peace treaty and prevented the WMD inspection teams from accessing numerous locations. Clinton failed to act. Bush used 9-11 as a scare tactic to push us into war, when we SHOULD have simply used force to get the inspection teams into those locations. It stirred up a hornets nest and Bush claimed we needed to stay there to control/stop insurgents and assist Iraq in forming a democratic government. To liberate Iraq. That is why we are being told we're still there.

Our soldiers are no worse than your countries soldiers, ass hole! They follow orders, kick the asses they get told to kick, and do a good job of it! I don't know where you got the idea that American soldiers murder foreign children, but if you're seriously full of shit!! If a 9 year old jumps out with a bomb strapped to him and starts runing at them, they'll mow his 9 year old ass down like any other enemy, but that ain't murder, that's combat! I, myself, did NOT vite for the ass hole, and the majority of ppl I know also did not vote for him the 2nd time around, so I don't know who the hell did, but I thought something similar to your comment when I found out he'd won a 2nd term. I honestly wonder if the election wasn't rigged and if the votes even counted! Keep in mind we we BEING LIED TO like crazy and fed propaganda through the media to GET people to vote for him however so don't be so fast to judge the voters.
