Isaac, Please Dont Go...

oh man its been a while i guess. a lot has happened. im not riding anymore. isaac went lame a while back. he hasnt been himself in months and the vet probably said he was acting like that cuz he was in pain. we think its his arthritis. hes in so much pain and is very very lame. we've tried bute and now are doing adequan injections. we havnt been able to get him out of pain. he now has special shoes on. but nothing has worked yet. he is completely insane and very very hard to handle. the vert told us he was unsafe for me to be handleing. but im the only one who actually can handle him. the poor guy.

anyway this really sucks. i have no idea whats going to happen. we are going over all our options and they all suck. but he isnt rideable so no more showing or jumping for sure. at best we will be able to get him sound enough for me to ride lightly. but i really dont know what to do... what does a person do with an 12 yr old horse who has terrible arthritis and is in pain and is completely psycho? i really just dont know. i love this horse more than anything and this whole things is killing me.

sorry for the depressing video. im not in the mood to edit. but i figured i should put something up.. there are no new clips as i dont want to film him in this condition. there are like 4 new pictures of me bathing him and letting him graze. yeah so please keep him in your prayers.. thanks guys.

We don't know how... but everything will work out. Sometimes life just throws things at you to see how you handle it... you're handling it well. There's not much you can do other than wait, and waiting's hard. Just keep holding on, there's always a better ending. <3

the fact he obviously loves you so much and that he's in so much pain, putting you in pain makes me really sad

i've never had my own horse (yet) and i can only imagine how much this would hurt.... i'm so sorry... i'll pray for you guys ;]

aw im so sorry :( i was really hopeing he would get better, he is such a beautiful boy. so sorry you have to go through this with your boy but i hope you guys figure it out soon!

sometimes the kindest thing we can do for those we love is to let them go. I too have known the love of a horse so great that it hurt, I still remember that love 20 yrs later. But if he is in this much pain, and you've done all you can, it seems to me its time to give him the greatest gift there is...peace with no more pain. I wont come out and say it but I know you know what Im getting at. Im so sorry you and he are going thru this...so very sad

hey:) my 19year old has really bad arthritis to:) i quess all you do is spent all the time you have with them, grooming, walking anything to build a bond that really us unbreackable, because one day you we wont have them:/ kinda sucks but i know how you feeel:)xx
