"Part 1: How did you start your business?" Elaina Norlin, executive director of the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center (AARLCC) interviews Karlene Facey, C.E.O. and marketing consultant of Clarocision Research and Marketing. The subject of the discussion is: How local businesses are "making it" in a tough economy. The AARLCC Small Business Videos are designed to give small business owners peer-to-peer advice that they can watch in the comfort of their homes. This is an opportunity for busy business owners to have access to professional development even if they don't have time to come into the library. This is a forum for business owners who feel they have some expertise in an area to share their knowledge with new or seasoned entrepreneurs.
