@Driinex yea. right. maybe if your clarinets were like at national level. I can barely play it this fast. I also seriously doubt that middle schoolers can play a slide on a clarinet.

@drkmge4 I know in america we dont influence music to kids to that rigor but in other areas its actually quite incredible. I like it but it's a little too slick I like clarinet polka to basically be the polka equiv. of dueling banjos -- you should have 3 clarinets and a trumpet and a sax all up there taking turns trying to outplay each other getting faster and faster and more flourishes each time etc. More of an informal jam than a well-produced big band sound like this

@drkmge4 It was a private school, most of us had been trained since we could hold the damn things. Besides, the soloist [non existant in my opinion on this vid] was an 8th grader. She was great. AND it was the Jazz band. We were miles above the rest of the band.

Eh...my jr high band could do better than this...They didn't get enough brass in there, and their tempo was a little off...
