Skybuck destroys Reptile in Mortal Kombat.

Some hints/clues are shown at the start.

Tip:

When fighting on the moon level perfection is needed. If perfection cannot be achieved press F2 to activate player two. Then simply kill player two. Repeat these steps until the moon level can be played again.

Shadows will keep flying across the moon... making it easier to try again !

There is a rumour:

Reptile can be unlocked by defeating two opponents flawlessly and with fatalities during endurance on the pit stage while shadows fly and possibly destroying reptile.

Maybe someday I try to investigate this rumour :)

I doubt this rumour is true for the ms-dos version...

But maybe it's true for other versions like snes or so ;)

@100DarkDude From what I remember I read it was ripped from something and perhaps slightly modified. Either that or it's simply the ms-dos PC version.

The 'hints' that they give to find him are logical now because we know what they mean and how to get to Reptile.

However, Imagine it's the early 90's with no internet or cheat codes. Then, the 'hints' don't make any sense and it is impossible to get the clue.

Also, I find it stupid that they did not change his name to Reptile in the life bar or cared enough to change the pallet swap when you do a fatality on him.
