  • simply put phenomenon is how we perceive things, whereas noumenon is how things actually are.

  • nono...

noumenon is the reality behind our perception.

We can partly perceive the world that surrounds us, through our senses and the elaboration of these perceptions in our mind.

What we get as a result is the phenomenal world: the world of perception.

The noumenal world is the world concealed to us. The integrity of the world (radiation, energy , waves etc...) all the things we cannot perceive. The thing as it is.

  • I think phenomenon means external action/effect and nuomenon means like somethign inside your imagination ? Im not 100% sure on this analogy though

  • ...I don't get it.
