Rene Geneva was honored to be invited to Guatemala and travel
with Philip Sansone of the Whole Planet Foundation to meet the
movers and shakers of Panajachel's Grameen Bank and the women
of several indigenous tribes that surround Lake Atitlan. The woman
you see here lives in San Jose, Guatemala and is spinning cotton
that is grown on their property which is then dyed with plants and
woven into textiles and accessories. These women relay on
businesses purchasing their products and paying a fair wage for
their livings. If you are interested in more information on how you
can work with these women, please send an email to Rene Geneva. Google it.
