  • you dont shower every day? dont you smell really bad?

  • @Kastralis Nope, I smell just fine.. when you eat healthy, you don't exude smelly toxins out of your skin

  • hot STEAMY showers i know arent healthy...specially for women (breast cancer). acne?? i dont see how it can help...n your super f'n cute. nice eyes. hit me up! lol

  • @lumberjak1984 Hah thanks. What do hot steamy showers have to do with breast cancer?

  • Steam open up the pores with moist heat , vs. showers, which add directly heat. It softens dead skin cells for easier removal, aids circulation, and can help to drain toxins from the skin. It may not be good for skin conditions that are irritated by prespiration or circulation (rosacea/fungal). Always cleanse beforehand. I do this about once a week, usually wiping my face with a warm cloth after, then follow with gentle exfoliation, warm rinse, toner (to close pores), and moisturizer.

  • @nuttmeg78 oh okay. Thanks for the clarification! It seems to help your skin then?

  • I had terrible acne as a teenager. My mother had bought me a face steamer I wanted to try. I steamed my face for a few times a week and after a month, my ance cleared up pretty nicely. It may not work for everyone of course, but it was really helpful for me. :)

  • It is more about the water preasure steam is light like mist hard water can be damaging to the skin cold or hot. A good water softener will be really beneficial also changing the setting on the shower head to a more softer setting will help out as well. I steam as we all know opens the pores. When you first decide to steam your acne will seem to break out but really all that happens is the bacteria/acne is coming to the surface of the skin and is more visible.

  • Wow, you have awesome eyes!

  • Cold water on your face is like a shield, it stops oil from spreading and blocks dirt and other things that cause acne. I remember taking cold showers for a week, and acne was significantly reduced. Hot showers did make my acne worse. I would say it's okay to steam your skin once in a while to really clean things out then rinse with cold.. One bad thing about cold showers for a long period of time is that you will itch very badly! So, it's good to have a balance, warm is always okay!

  • @thelovevitamin well theres other things that make breast cancer more possible but the chemicals inthe water get absorbed much more easy intothe skin when hot n steamy. mind you that tap water has a ton of chemicals that are much more readily absorbed through the skin then drinking it. n they affect the lumphatic system which flows lymph through the breasts n body. start rebounding on a trampoline if 1 thinks breast cancer is there lol. true!
