Love this clip, thank you so much for posting.. Bring back old Sesame Street....

At 0:42, someone on the left side was about to walk out on screen. I'm sure it wasn't the same kid walking and coming out on screen (they were probably using a different older person for each different scene).

It fascinates me that human beings learn to both talk and walk. Seriously, think about it. Isn't it amazing? And it's all instinct. No one can TELL a li'l baby they have to start walking. They just start trying on their own.

As a kid I was quite fascinated at watching the progress of that baby girl as she grows up and learns how to cross those steps.
-
She thinks she likes those steps

memories...i was searching for this video for nearly 10 yrs
I grew up on classic scenes like these. They are longer than a lot of the ones they use on Sesame Street now. The longer scenes helped to stretch a child's attention span. Now, they cater to a child's naturally short attention span, which is a shame. I've always loved Sesame Street but if I had a child, I would have them watch the classics.

Heck, they should release this and a bunch of Joe Raposo's other instrumental music for Sesame Street on CD someday.
