Filmed tons of footage when I went to Japan in Sep '05. This is a compiled version of the whole trip (Part 2) for my visitors at my website, The Sonic Stadium. It unfortunately omits the Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Imperial Palace footage I took, but you may just see that yet!

Part 2 is pretty much video game focused, with a street group advertising Game Boy Micro, and an adventure in a huge electronics store near Ginza. Also includes the quest to find a ticket to Studio Ghibli Museum and extortionate Moonwalker DVDs.

  • Hey Dread, its Iceman. You're like the luckiest man alive ^_^

  • japan is like one giant fruitcake

  • The problem with buying games from another country is sometimes they don't work on your console. For instance I bought video games from Japan back when Playstation was new and it didn't work on my American made Playstation.

  • I wonder what the parents and kids were thinking when you were video taping them. XD Rock on little penguin...

  • Is that the Shiva Gundam Terratag t-shirt? Rawk on!

    Man, Lawson's are everywhere!!

And, of course, Ghibli only let in so many people a day. 1000Y, a fiver, for the museum. Bargain!

If you want to go with a group, try the London Anime Club, we go again in August 2007. We're going to a Comiket and Worldcon, plus Kyoto.
