LET'S PLAY - LET'S BUILD is the official charity campaign of the FIFA U-20 World Cup Canada 2007. SOS Children's Villages (SOS) builds homes for abandoned and orphaned children in southern Africa.

Our campaign, Let's Play, Let's Build will aim to raise $2.3 million dollars in order to build a new SOS Children's Village in Ondangwa, Namibia.

This will the THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY that SOS has been able to BUILD AN ENTIRE VILLAGE SOLELY FROM CANADIAN CONTRIBUTIONS.

This Village will be home to generations of orphaned and abandoned childeren who would otherwise be homeless and alone. The SOS Village will also include a kindergarten.

FIFA and SOS have chosen these projects because it is clear that the HIV / AIDS pandemic is sweeping across southern Africa, creating a generation of orphans, and crippling economies.

This campaign is in partnership with FIFA because soccer will play an integral part of these new projects.

  • What if ALL HUMAN BEINGS wer given the $3.5 trillion dollars each that Mother Nature has provided?

Then there would be no poverty.

What if we all learned to share and live in peace?

    No orphans, no abandoned children.

    Then no need for SOS.

  • I agree
