Closest overtake ever

I had filtered (legally!) into a position just to the front left of an escort at traffic lights. Upon setting off I check that he is hanging back and take primary in front of him. He then proceeds to overtake centimeters from my arm. I feel I have to lift my arm to avoid my elbow hitting the car.Luckily I control the bike and swerve out of the way. There was no need for this overtake, had he stayed behind me he would have still made the lights. I was endangered for no reason at all. Possibly he just didn't like the fact I was in front of him, who knows?

@fsriders That would be a stupid thing to do here. You still need to use lane disapline. If he would of stuck in the left lane he probably would of been side swiped by cars turning left..
