  • The character of Edward Norton reminds me of Don Quichote

  • @cosmoscitizen La conformité doit être rigoureuse pour être adéquate.......and it would be narrow-minded to think that only inadequate people resort to fantasy.

  • @Westonelm

What is the different between an adequate and an inadequate person? bank account?job?family?

Do only so calles "inadequate people' resort to fantasy?

  • @SHINYamAHA21

Uncertainty is apparent when such a person feels obliged to describe themselves as "good".

Harlan, in the movie seems polite (calls everybody "sir" or "ma'am" ) whereas the You Tuber we are referring to (let's call him 'shouting-stalker") makes no compromises whatsoever.

  • @Westonelm

    I agree.

They tend to interfere a lot in other people's lives similarly let other people interfere with theirs even if they are uncomfortable. and says, "I am a good one."

     "self analysis"

It tickles me if I imagine myself saying such...(unless I was a politician haha)

Therapist's view: People with a low self esteem are constantly involved in self analysis.

    It's very annoying.

  • @SHINYamAHA21

Fantasy can curdle into a frightening obsession.

  • @Westonelm

Artist's view: One becomes everything is in sought.

Doctor's view: One becomes the only one value is in disorder.

Obsession is not all bad. It's the challenge motor.

Is it in a shift gear or automatic?...meaning in-self control or out of control.

    That's the difference.

Harlan's invasive delusion, self analysis, no reckoning rules among people,

more over, no consideration. The movie educates people. a mustsee movie.

  • @SHINYamAHA21

I agree------an excellent film ! Isolated, inadequate people often escape to fantasy. I've come across the perfect example on You Tube (name withheld of course).

Quote from Harlan ( Edward Norton) ----->

"I've tried living down in the valley again, really tried this time. Walked up and down it looking for one open face, but most people I've meet hardly seem like human beings to me anymore."

  • The uniqueness in an ill personality can ruin peace.

It is a fascinating movie I just watched last night.

An ill minded person's Delusional Pilgrimage Fantasy can make a misery.

My experience, girls~ watch out those extremist, worshippers.

    Excellent movie!
