  • Already made this comment elsewhere, but I doubt there would be half this fuss if one of Damian Green's constituents was getting this sort of treatment

  • Smear smear smear.Martin Salter's remarks are almost beyond the pale they really are.Jacqui Smith when on Andrew Marr's programme last Sunday hinted darkly at "national security" issues but when Marr pressed her she couldnt say what they were.The job of the Opposition is to call the Govt to account.Gordon Brown received countless leaked documents including most of the 1996 Budget. If he had been arrsted everytime he got leaked docs he would still be inside now.

  • The Government and the British Bullsh*tting Corparation are b*m chums.

  • So if Damian Green was trying really hard to uncover facts relating to government immigration policy, it would be worthy of an arrest: whereas if he merely stumbled across the facts, that might be okay. Smith's position does not wash.
