My group and I made this for our engineering project. One of the marking criteria was to roll a 5kg toy truck down a ramp and over the bridge, while loosely carrying an egg above it. We passed =]
We were only allowed to use paper, cardboard, glue, string and sticky tape. But we chose only to use cardboard and tape. The bridge weighed 283g (about the weight of a cup of water) and can hold nearly 10x its weight.
