I logged two flights Sunday.
Youre right about the rudder. It's like flying a rudder that just happens to have an airplane attached! I calmed the take off down using 50% expo on ch4. Works like a charm.
Seagull says only 3/16" throw on low rate for elevator which seems way too small. For maiden I doubled the throw (lo & hi) but that made it pitch-sensitive. CG is 90mm from LE. Dunno if I should move CG forward or reduce the elevator throw by 20% and add 20% expo?
How did you set CG?

Nice flying. You seem to have it very well dialed in.
I maidened mine this past weekend.
What high-rate control throws are you using for ailerons and elevator?
Any expo on the elevator?
Thanks!

Hi Chris,
This plane did not take much to get it to fly the way I like.
I hope youtr first flight went well. You probably noticed it will make you work that rudder stick!
I will have to measure my throws to answer you on the elevator and ailerons.
I don't use any expo on this airplane on any of the controls.

Sorry I was joking about the pass over the Runway, some Folks use to get legalistic about the rules to a point where it wasn't Fun. I like your Flying and the Plane! I figured you may wonder what Rule, so I expected a reply. Thanks for Sharing the Great Video ED! Ray.

No problem, I thought you might be referring to the low inverted pass.
That pass was a camera shot and as you can see there was no one else flying so I took a small amount of liberty with the rules.
As a rule I dont do passes like that over the runway, especially if others are flying at the same time.
