Worthy of inclusion on any best of Bauhaus compilation. Having had time to properly evaluate "Go away white", I've come to the conclusion that it's actually a much better album than anyone had any right to expect. After recovering from the disappointment of the rather underwhelming "Too much 21st century", (whose idea was it to make that the opening track on their first new studio album in nearly 25 years?) the record more than recovers. Love the fact it is all 1st takes & minimal overdubs.

I love the instrumentation and vocal effects, but the incoherence of the lyrics annoys me. Maybe I should stop analyzing and accept the fact that Pete and co. were probably high to some extent... Ethereal stuff regardless...

I used to listen again and again this song years ago in my bed. And i couldn't stop puttin again the guitar part, it feels so haunting, like emotions are being gathered in one. It's quite confusing but there's one thing that remains, the love I have for this band.
