i am so sick of hearing ppl say "they're fight for our freedom". NO they are not fighting for our freedom rather they are fighting for american economic interests. most american sheeple are brain washed into believing that and NEVER question it. those impoverished people pose no threat to our freedom and they are fighting against invaders in their country the best they can. also i dont agree with blowing one self up and killing innocent people. most people over there dont do that.

LOL! i will not see the profits gained from these "wars" i pay for them thru my tax dollars. all that i and almost everyone else in this country will see is the debt incurred by our country fighting for the economic interest of a few people. fighting a war to make the rich more rich is not fighting for my or anyone elses' freedom. people of in afghan and iraq are freed from one master only to serve another. socioeconomic-political rule from the west.

@serineprotease fighting for your freedom mate. Do you sit at home with computers, a couple of fuel guzzeling 4wd's (SUV), and food on the table? Do you have luxeries? you wouldnt have those things if they weren't fighting for your freedom, or as you may put it, your economic interests ;)

AND YES THEY ARE. if they werent there then we would all still either have a british accent, be speaking german, or praising allah. yes they do fight for you and me, the news is stretched out i will give you that, but the fact of the matter is they are fighting WITH THE PEOPLE OF AFGANISHTAN. we are not "killing innocent people, innocent people get caught in the cross fire.

@serineprotease Actually for about 50 dollars most of those people will alert the Taliban of when Americans leave the post so they can attack us. these people have been held back from an education so long they don't understand that with simple farming techniques they can grow food instead of opiates. Women still cant vote, and if she is raped it is her responsibility to become a martyr to bring back her families honor. That means a suicide vest. most fighters are from outside Afghanistan.
