  • how much did pay for it? couse i found it for only 195 €..is it possible?

  • @roytek444 I paid around £250 for the Head and Cab second hand but separately they would cost around £200 each brand new so 195 euro for the head is possible

  • Great Vid... I Just want to know becaussa i'm wanting to make my own Cab.. I Want to know if i'm going to get a good sound out of it the same way????

  • @Hakman13 Hi, the question your asking is a tad unclear so i'll answer as best i can.

providing you make the cab with decent enough parts and use decent cable and have a good standard of soldering i dont see why it would not sound as good as a laney cab.

just make sure that you enclose the speakers and provide the proper insulation etc in your build and im sure it'l be fine.

  • I'v got the lx120h and lx412 cab, but i am dissapointed at the power output on the clean channel, for instance, i can turn all the eque's up to 10 and volume up to 10, and it wount ruffle my hair at about two feet away, the drive channel is fine and if i put a pedal (eg marshall Governor) in front while on the clean channel, it's fine. I've hooked it up to a 4 ohm cab to the head, but made no difference. what's the volume (power) like on yours as regards to the clean channel?

  • @rodwynnejones Hey, my clean channel is fine, to be honest I would say it could push out a bit more than my distortion channel. The fact that your clean channel can push out sound when channel pedal connected is odd... but it does just mean its probably only a dry connection or bad solder joint on the PCB board inside your head. I would open it up and take a look but if your not that technically minded get a friend to help?

  • @CaptainsGamertag thank you =)

  • @CaptainsGamertag Thanks for getting back to me. I'm on an electronics forum now sorting is out and I think it's sorted. A FET transistor is not getting a negative voltage to "pinch" if off so most of my signal is going straight to ground rather than the power amp stage so I've disconnected it's drain, it's a lot better (it's a sort of a delay so you don't get the power-on/off thump). Now trying to find out the cause of the fault, but you didn't what to know that did you.lol. thanks again.

With just one 8 ohm cab your only putting out between 80 to 90 watts. For 120 watts output you need to connect another 8 ohm cab or connect one 4 ohm cab on it's own.

  • @666RiffsOfDeth666 cheers, I am using my ibanez rgr with infinity 1 & 2 pickups. i love it but it's a real high gain guitar! so does get a bit ott when you stick it in a marshall
