hey can u help me please. i have a aspire 7741z-4643 has a lga1156 pentium dual core. i wanna upgrade it to the lga1156 I3 cpu. both sockets are the same and both are same watts ?? can u help me out ?

I have the Aspire 4315 aswell, with a T5850 Core-2-Duo. There have been reports this laptop can also accept 800FSB Socket P CPU's aswell,, such as the T7100. T7250, T7300, T7500, T7700 & T7800. The latest BIOS is v1.16, and can be found on Acers FTP Website FTP dot Work dot Acer, Acer only provide v1.15 on there support website.

I think that you can put 3gb. People say that 4gb causes BSOD.

Sorry, no. Meant for basic tasks. Like web browsing, word docs, music, videos, etc. Could not handle games like COD4.
