Murabitun Darqawiya Sufi Order { Early 1980's }

This is some rare footage of a Murabitun sufi gathering in Granada-Spain recorded in the earily 1980's .
The video also includes the Scotish sufi master -Shaykh Dr. Abdal qadir as sufi al murabit.

Imam Ahmad relates from Anas (Allah be well pleased with him), with a chain of transmission all of whose narrators are those of Bukhari except Hammad ibn Salama, who is one of the narrators of Muslim, that
the Ethiopians danced in front of the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace); dancing and saying [in their language], "Muhammad is a righteous servant." The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, "What are they saying?" And they said, "'Muhammad is a righteous servant'" (Musnad al-Imam Ahmad. 6 vols. Cairo 1313/1895. Reprint. Sufism is way older than Islam , it just uses Islam as a cloak to exist under,,,it is really the one to one contact with the Creator...

The essence of sufism is as old as mankind but the sceince of ihsaan that being tasawwuf { sufism } is from Islam and rightfully speaking Islam { submission to the creator } is the primordal life transaction that has always been there from the begining of time. There is no Sufism without Islam

I agree that Sufism should very much stay as an intricate part of Islam. Therefore, I disagree with Universal Sufism, which says that you don't have to be Islamic to be a Sufi. Therefore, while I appreciate Universal Sufism, I am not its greatest fan, because Sufism without Islam is really just re-hashing Buddhism and Taoism.

Yes i most agree, Universal sufism is just psudo sufism with a budist egde for hippies who pay to perform sufi chants, there is no sufism without Islam

Another interesting fact. The Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of the Sikhs, contain several writings from Sufi saints.
