Poem by Li Wong
I am a sojourner in the strange land
i have sailed form the eastern sky on a giant canopy
i have danced on the china sea and the atlantic waves
and traversed many strange-tongue streets
but home eludes me amidst the noisy chattering of the world
i have mind the depths of questioning eyes and searched the soul of young laughter
circulating eddies of hope and devotion
but my home eludes me amidst the noisy chattering of the world
in the still misty winter morning
i stand at the seashore
and i listen for caesuras between the waves
when whispers of home embrace me
and lead me into the world
Beautiful...
