i to have a 25 year old, beautiful daughter, who is autistic; i have given her cannabis in food, for 5 years, it isw an amazing medicine and plant; her tantrums are less, her abstract art is allowing her to have art shows in our community; she doesnt eat it daily, but when i feel a freak out comming on. also helps with her monthly cycle, and the pain. truely thankful for cannibus...

I too have friends who have disabilities and they struggle hard but some are making good progress! -when i was first diagnosed with aspergers at the age of 10. I used to be quite a nussence back when i was younger aswell because i kept getting distracted easily in class and getting into trouble with people. Now i'm doing fine thanks to weed, i can socialize better, learn better in school, and draw better due to the fact that my creativity rises when i smoke cannabis. See this is why i believe kids with any kind of autism or a serious disability to be able to use medical marijuana because it will help the child out with his aggression and problems in the household. perscription drugs like resperdol and all those other drugs are proven to fail and worsen the child's behavior and mind. The same goes for institutionalizing this child that will only make things worse for him and the parents! I on the other hand have asperger's syndrome and i behaved the same way

I'm also on the lower end of the Autism Spectrum. I have a feeling that I may need some medical pot soon. I haven't been eating the way I used to and I've been stressed out about my family a lot since my mom's been committed. I need a new environment 'cause i'm tired of living with my dad (his house is very dirty). I need to look more into this. If Cannabis can help severely autistic kids, then it can help someone like me who may be low or mildly autistic.
