Super Mario Bros. 2 (FDS) World 2

You know, some people call this an update to Super Mario Bros. rather than a sequel and I don't quite understand the claim. Sure it's an update, adding new features to the original, but with new levels. This is about as much of a sequel as Halo 2 is to Halo for that matter. At least, that's what I think.

My son is stuck and he is crying about it. He's stuck on World 2-2. He hit the invisible block, but he still can't advance even though he's fast enough. Can you help him??? Have any tips???

@jln195399 He needs to make sure that the screen hasn't scrolled past the green pipe too much, because the more place he has to run before jumping, the higher is his chance of succeeding. I think being tall Mario (after eating a mushroom or a fire flower) helps. My last tip is to play the game as Luigi since he jumps higher by default and should have no problem reaching that block, unlike Mario.

I think it was a world or level with wind and very small platforms you have to land on that I found hard, I'll see when I get there, but from memory that was it.
