  • I feel saddened because the people, (the mormom church) that brought me up as a child tried to teach me that another person that loves a person of the same sex is an abononation, that I cannot accept.

  • You know what I think is ridiculous? People who are against prop 8 complain that Mormons are supposedly attacking them, when Mormons are merely standing up for what they believe in. so, anti-prop 8 people decide it's a good idea to attack the Mormons. That is called hypocrisy. You don't see the Mormons putting hate videos towards gays all over Youtube and the television. Also... They aren't the only ones who are for prop 8. You just attack them because you are prejudice. again... HYPOCRITES.

  • To see the Mormon position explained simply and succinctly, take a look at:

"Mormon Church Defends Prop 8 and Marriage(s)" by lezazacomedy

And for a good explanation of what constitutes a true biblical marriage, watch:

  • @Coacoabeanbean

Not at all. We attack them for TRYING TO TAKE AWAY OUR RIGHTS. We don't want to take away Mormons' rights to practice their silliness and wear magic underwear, we ask that they not fight to take away the right of gay people to be happy. The Mormons' "beliefs" you refer to involve taking away other people's rights. You can't just hide behind religion when you are working to harm people for being born different from you. It's so simple even a Mormon could understand

  • @Coacoabeanbean When "standing up for what they believe in" infringes on the equality of other citizens in a society, how the fuck can you possibly defend that?

  • @omiolo1 Your comparison is exactly backwards. The Nazis first vilified the Jews ("they are not like us, they are less good than we are"), then deprived them of their rights (right to assemble, right to own property, right to conduct business, and especially pertinent here: right to marry a non-Jew). If anyone in the current scenario is playing the role of the Nazis, it is the religious fanatics that claim that gay marriage somehow affects them and is therefore their concern.

  • @Coacoabeanbean Exactly. I go to church there but honestly, even now, gays are and were hardly ever specifically mentioned. What is mentioned so often is preaching against is casual divorce, porn, cheating on one's spouse and premarital sex. In short, the very things which should be preached regarding the sanctity of marriage are preached. I wonder why someone doesn't read what the Qu'ran says regarding homosexual acts sometimes. Trust me, the words would make most Americans edgy.

  • @omiolo1 They did exactly that. They preached of Jews as a threat or a people who could try and take over Germany. But the Jews never had such force or intentions. The idea is the same here. It was a psychology excercise to make Nazis feel that they were doing the "right thing" when killing jews, because Jews were supposedly a threat to defend themselves.

  • @cryan71 I think you would love that but that is not what I did was it?

I think you can use some food with all your whining.

  • @AdAequitas

    Somebody call the Whaaaaaambulance!

You mock gay mormons who blow their brains out on your church steps, and you say my soul is desensitized?

  • @mrmn8honeybee I see he doesnt' want to stand up for anything except to lower himself to base and libelous insults. He shall have his reward in this life and/or the next.

  • @cryan71 your behavior seems to have no limit in it's hatred and promotion thereof. If I had to guess you have desensitized your soul with all your hatred.

I would have to ask what would you do if you couldn't attack and demean others?
