If heathcare costs are too high, how will insuring millions of people be cost effective under Obamacare? Oh I get it now.....lets raise taxes on people who already pay 70% of the taxes in this country. You know...the ones with jobs. Lets tax them more. What a brilliant idea! How bout this....how bout all those who want Obamacare, go increase your W-4 withholdings with your employer Monday morning? I'll bet most of you won't, or you can't because you don't have a job. stealthgerm... 2009 right wing solution had several ideas for a health care bill. 1. allow insurance companies to sell over state lines to encourage competition among insurance companies and choices for the consumer. 2. tort reform. 3. Medicaid transfer and there are many more ideas but Pelosi wouldn't allow it to be brought for discussion on the floor. Those Dems are for bi-partisanship? NOT!!!!

just what is the right wing solution?status quo?at 20% a year jump in rates it wont take long before no one can afford coverage.more and more go to emergency rooms we pay for that now. health care is broke now .doing nothing is not a solution .just what is the republican solution??look what insurance costs have done to the auto industry.look at outsourcing of jobs .

Most of the low, slimy, dishonest talk about health care thus far has came from the right. I've heard rumors about death panels, mandatory abortions, mandatory sex change operations (believe it or not), allowing illegal immigrants the right to join the program, and taking away VA benefits for our veterans just to name a few.

I think scaring seniors about death panels in order to kill a bill is pretty dishonest and slimy.

I'm not contradicting the founding assumptions of this country, I'm contradicting your assumptions of its founding. I'm not arguing that personal liberty (as long as it applies to white male landowners) wasn't an important value to the founding fathers. I just don't see how its against the principles of the US for congress to pass health care legislation.

In western MO they managed a creidible debate Sat. in Lees summit ,MO, Peaceful and good dialog. After it was over, both sides stayed for a couple more hours and dialoged between each side. THe rep had left after a nice meeting. The remaining hours were just "WE the People". Refreshing and the American way.

funny i was thinking the opposite. those gals screeching should just make some youtube videos instead of all the incoherent yammering back and forth. uncomfortable to watch them IMO
