DEBUT VIDEO: Here's "Thank You Girl" and "From Me To You" by The Beatles, played on my portable record player. Sorry about the sound quality. I didn't know how bad it was gonna sound on camera, so I probabally won't be playing too many songs on this thing.

Also it's not very noticeable in the video, but there's a lot of flutter, because the rubber drive wheel is a bit deteriourated.

  • yo i have a disco record player just like that with the same exact part and guess what the turntable mechanism is made by bsr. mines needs some work. it wouldn't track records properly even if i put a new stylus in it. i might just put a new tonearm in it like 1lofi45 did on his arvin portable.

  • BSR is right... it's printed on the idler wheel!

and I just installed some phono output jacks to this thing so i can record my 78s onto cassette to preserve the sound.

But now i got my RCA Victor with the Garrard changer!!! it's 1,000 times better, but I'm still gonna hang on to this cool little record player.
