Ha nice video, but one hour is pretty good for this ride. :)

  • @youmakemelaugh99 Alright, I'll clear this up. You're wrong. The LSM's propelling the train up the first incline out of the station are considered a lift. The mechanism that moves the train does not define whether it's a lift or launch, but the action if performs. The lift on Maverick moves the train at a constant speed of 25mph or so; it does not accelerate in speed throughout the track segment, as a launch would. Even though it moves faster than most other lifts, it does not make it a launch.

  • @youmakemelaugh99 Dragster launches with a cable, that is a launch. Millennium Force lifts with a cable, that's a lift hill. Maverick launches with magnets, it's a launch. Maverick Lifts with magnets, it's also a launch? How does this work? Those magnets are performing the action of moving the train an upwards of 105 feet. To move up, is to lift. Maverick does not accelerate up that hill. Anything that moves with thrust could be considered a launch, but if it's LIFTING, it's a lift.

  • Yeah hi, thats not a lift. It's a slow paced inclinded launch.

  • @youmakemelaugh99 Nope. It's a lift.

  • @sharpproductions But a lift is either a cable or a chain. This is LSMs so it is considered a launch. It nearly says it on all coaster websites :)

  • @youmakemelaugh99 That's not a launch, it brings you slowly out of the station then gradually accelerates you up the hill, that is not a launch.

  • @sharpproductions It's a launch. That carries the train up the hill. The ride has 2 launches, the one on the lift hill and the one in the tunnel.

  • @youmakemelaugh99 That's not a launch, it's a lift.

  • @sharpproductions and @Livelifestrongly123 You do get launched, they use LSMs to bring the train up the hill.
