Spring Roll Ingredients:
2 ounces dried rice sticks
8 round rice paper wrappers
1 small bunch basil leaves
1 small cucumber
5 boston lettuce leaves (or romaine)
12 medium sprimp *trick: boil shrimp with shell on then peel afterward cooking for better appearance when you cut them in half

Optional:
Mint leaves
bean sprouts

Peanut Sauce Ingredients:
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 tbsp granulated sugar
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
juice of 1/2 lemon or lime
1/4 cup water

Easy sauce: Buy bottled premade sauce.

  • @jakobneirinck i dont think so. i haven't tried with this type. there is another kind for "egg rolls" specifically that i know you can fry. it looks yellow/tan and not clear like this one and usually needs to be refrigerated. hope this helps

  • @kennierose i did not say i would fry spring rolls. i would fry egg rolls. those are two different things. egg rolls are supposed to be fried since they use a different wrap. please do your research before commenting negatively.

    Yes you can fry them ; I had the same question and finally I found a video called "Easy VIetnamese Crispy Spring Roll Recipe" youtube . com/watch?v=K5WuUAF4QNM showing that it is possible

  • mmm, fresh rolls are one of my favorite things to make! I posted a video of a sesame-miso dip I came up with recently, I try to sometimes switch up from the peanut sauce ;)
