This beautiful Religion of Al-Islam is the most precious thing in our lives. It is the path to the ultimate happiness in this life and in the Hereafter. As a result, Allah The Most High informed us in the Quran and the Sunnah that we will have enemies

(ourselves, Shaitan, others) and that the only way to protect our Deen is to turn to Allah alone and hold fast to the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Alihy wa Sallam. This should not be in general terms, but in every word, action, and state that we are in.

Therefore, we need the knowledge of the specifics of how to submit fully in all of our affairs to what Allah The Most High wants from us according to the Sunnah of our Prophet Salla Allahu Alihy wa Sallam.

The Prophet Salla Allahu Alihy wa Sallam said in his farewell sermon: "I am leaving behind among you something which, if you adhere to it, you will not go astray after that. It is the Book of Allah and my Sunnah." (Maalik and AlHaakim)

He also said: Whoever among you lives after I die will see differences arise. I urge you to adhere to my Sunnah and the way of my rightly-guided successors (al-khulafaa' al-raashidoon); clench your teeth on it (i.e., hold fast to it). Beware of newly invented things, for every innovation (bid'ah) is a going astray" (AbuDawood, Attirmithi and others)

Allah The Most High says in the Quran "And from those who say, "We are Christians" We took their covenant; but they forgot a portion of that of which they were reminded. So We caused among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. And Allah is going to inform them about what they used to do. (5:14).

The above verse mentions the way of Allah on earth that is true for every nation. When they forget a portion of that of which they were reminded.......it causes animosity and hatred. If we leave some of the orders of Allah or the way of our Prophet Salla Allahu Alihy wa Sallam....it leads us to animosity and hatred which is present today among Muslims, generally speaking and specifically. Allah is the Most Merciful, He informed us with regards of the causes and effects of disobeying Allah and His Messenger.

Therefore, the only way and I repeat...The only way, that we can be successful in this life and in the Hereafter is to follow the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Salla Allahu Alihy wa Sallam in the same way and understanding of the Companions of the Prophet and the early generations of Islam as the above hadeeth states. In every specific thing that we have to deal with, we need the understanding of the early generations of Al-Islam. This is the true knowledge and any deficiency in applying that, then it is animosity and hatred that would spread

I would like to examine the problem of disunity that are causing differences among some of the Muslim communities and how to solve it.

For leaders and Imaams:
a- Leadership position in Islam is a source of sorrow and regret in the Day of Judgment, that's why it is not something to seek or to run for, but rather to be offered with no longing for it.. The Prophet Salla Allahu Alihy wa Sallam said: "Do not seek to be a ruler (whether to a king, or even a private ruling), for if you are given authority on your demand then you will be held responsible for it, but if you are given it without asking (for it), then you will be helped (by Allah) in it. (Albukhaari).

  • Our beloved shaykh anwar awlaki is indeed a true inspiration to us all. A Shaheed Insha'Allah.

He rejected the life of comfort and benefit in the west and joined the ranks of the Mujahideen to assist the religion, he is someone who devotedly sacrificed his time, wealth and life entirely for the sake of Allah.

We pray Allah Bless him with the Highest of Jannah. His Legacy will live on through the Believers.

  • @lilblitz - 5 - and all 4 imams (of the madhabs) said that jihad is an individual obligation during times like this where the Muslims are fighting defensively...and are overpowered by the kuffar (yet, these various rulers end up siding with and helping those who are already overpowering us)! how can anyone dare call them fellow believers?? so Anwar al-Awlaki (ra) among others tood up against these types of (evil) people!!

  • problems with Muslims is that they want Paradise without Sacrifice.Much like their Christian counterparts who want to put their sins all on Jesus's head to get a free ride

  • what a shame, an educated man...got most of his education here, loses his mind...becomes a turncoat...treason against a nation who welcomes people from around the world.....contorts the Quran to his liking....and once again leads people around the globe to think Islam is a hate-filled violent way of life. May Allah have mercy on him....he got what he deserved. Traitor.

    Kaffirun.

  • They didn't just kill him. They blew him to bits with a good old fashioned Made in America Hellfire missile. The only thing they could find was his beard-burning. We shut this yappy piece of shit up for good! He ain't in heaven. He took that elevator of death straight down...TO HELL! Skinny mouthy, tapeworm ass piece of shit got what he deserved. Bye bye Anwar, been nice knowin' ya!

  • well said............ masha allah......!

  • Funny how this "TERRORIST" was invited into the Pentagon a number of times after the 911 attacks. It was all over the news. LIES-LIES & more lies.

  • @Mr1Fox9 Anwars odd ideas in some aspects come from sayyed qutb this is not a man to follow for islamic ideology look at anwars earlier lectures he was against so many of the things he later preached, it is easy for a human to take a wrong methodology especially on complex issues and especially with no solid formal islamic training

  • @Mr1Fox9 as soon as you start weighing up pros and cons and knowing a thing has a goal and effects not just an idea then you will understand the position of the ulima vs those with less knowledge like brother al awlaki who don't get their position and although they are well intentioned are at times guilty of gross misjudgment people like sheik uthymeen are so knowlegable brother anwar is a great story teller, very genuine brother with a good knowlege but a scholar NO WAY

  • @Mr1Fox9 No one argues if your sick medicine is not only permissible but mustahaab and even at times obligatory, BUT if the medicine causes more harm than the sickness it's self it is not permissible, so something in actuality that is permitted becomes impermissible, there is wisdom in this deen of ours and passionate speeches and men of action are easy to follow but not mean they are right, Mohammad sws said a time will come when standing still is better than walking and so on WISDOM

  • @Mr1Fox9 I hate to inform you but anwar and osama are not sheiks in the scholarly sense? Who are they the students of? What madrass, what university did they graduate, wh's understudy were they, sheik ibn Uthymeen and others are far far more knowledgeable than them, they understand blowing something up kills 100 non muslims and justifies them with their superior power to kill 1 million muslims, so you did far more harm than good, these guys dont get that,

  • @Mr1Fox9 It's easy to point at saudi scholars and call them hypocrites until you realise they know a lot more than me and you about islam and about the situaion and they are not presenting a new ideas, you must understand everything in islam is done with the understanding of its effect, something should bring more benefit than harm, maybe they want these things more than you and anwar, ask what anwar acheived? If he was more careful would they have killed him, it was his naseeb but in theory?
