@lot24 The thing is, Bush only REALLY got insults after messing up, and refusing to clean up his messes. Obama has yet to make any real mistake and is constantly on blast. Now let me ask, is this REALLY a case of Double Standards? You bet it is, but not in the way that you are suggesting.

I am so thankful we don't get the type of sensationalist news you get in the US. the news hosts can say what they please not that we in the UK cant but we don't arses like Bill O'Reilly.

I doubt the BBC would allow to do a news broadcast like FOX simply because the Government would have something to say and the TV licence may come into jeopardy and commercial TV Stations like ITV wouldn't want advertisers to leave.

I support Obama and dont agree with Fox. However, this is a case of double standard. During the Bush years many people joked about killing him or overthrowing the government. Well, this woman is not saying we should kill Obama. She doesn't like him, and she cracked a joke at his expense. It's not seditious speech. She shouldn't apologize. It's called the 1st Amendment and things can't suddenly change because "Obama isn't Bush". Us liberals forgot we're not immune to opposition.
