  • Then the show wouldn't be dramatic enough.

  • Why didn't Mary just tell her mom she bought the book to give it back to miss Beadle? That would have said nothing about her taking the test or not...

  • @pattiejo69 In God's hands...Ha ha !

  • @dars2607 It's easy : if she said to her mom she wanted to work to give the book back afterwards, then the mom would have known she hasn't given it back yet...which would imply she hasn't said to miss beadle "can't do the test...here's your book". Tadaaaaa !

  • Where's Carry when Mary's mom went to the store?

  • @determinedpurpose Yes exactly!Maybe she's doing her chastity vows.Lol!She seems so serious, maybe a little too serious for a girl this age.

  • @ 10:15 all I could see in Lauras face was ooooh noo ma is pissed! Lol great episode

  • hah, Mary looks like a nun around 6:00

  • Mary shouldn't do all that reading in the dark, she may just go blind some day.

    Oh, wait a minute..........

  • I guess having well-behaved children in a small community would be a benefit to the teacher. It certainly wasn't like when I was their age. The average class size would be between 30 and 40 students and always a few misfits in every class.

  • @misheemom i heard somewhere on tv, that she got pregnant, and had an abortion, Rob Lowe's baby

  • @vickiormindyb I read her book also. You're about the 5th person who said the same thing about it getting boring once she got to Rob Lowe. I haven't finished it but pick it up here and there when I need something to read... Have you read Alison Arngrim's book, Confessions of a Prairie B-tch? It's a great book and an easy read as well.
