Congratulations for raising three thinkers. I was raised to question everything and that only is what kept me from becoming a JW three years ago.

I wanted answers beyond "talking snake makes female take the fall for stealing an apple from some pecker head's tree, making child-birth painful and cursing man to suffer death like everything else on the planet..... so you'd better turn your time card in or .... some how you will not go to paradise" I had real questions.

Very relevant! I remember my questions. As each of my questions about doctrine, and science was shot down, I then began to question "our" beliefs more as a whole. I started to believe that it wasn't the answers to the individual questions that even mattered. It was the questions themselves that made me different from other JWs. Their definitions of life/science are very simple, and in the long run can't stand up to valid questions. No answers beyond "have faith".

Amazing how when one has a son or daughter life takes on a new meaning.

@joepublisher1 I'll say I have gotten two responses that made logical sense, I didn't agree with them but at least they made logical sense. So I give props for those two. That leaves 58 unanswered though.

I would never subject a hypothetical daughter to the JW's if I could prevent it. They are designed to deceive, manipulate, and exploit.

I recommend keeping a dvd back up of your videos, Should your you-tube videos get lost.

@Obasiliasfilosofos Someone is apparently selling my videos at Evangelical Christian conventions, so I'm sure they'll be around ;) But yes I do have most of them on a flash drive.
