@Zeggle But there is a reason why the Purdey name has become so famous - because of the incredible quality. Remington does not have the same reputation in o/u shotguns - and that is also for a reason. They cater, generally, for lower budget shooters. I don't mean low budget shooters, but lower budget shooters in comparison to those looking at Purdeys. Quality comes at a cost, and cheaper guns are cheaper for a reason.

Pistols are illegal in this country due to knee jerk legislation to appaease the electorate. Other countries have had maniacs go berserk but resist draconian legislation because they value democracy.
