@iPisces2 Actually, it doesn't matter if a family says that it's how it's pronounced. I've heard plenty of horrible bastardizations of last (and even first) names in my life. We have this auto body place in my town called Dalziel's and the radio jingle goes "D-A-L-Z-I-E-L spells "dee-al's" auto body". How do you get a pronunciation like "dee-al" from that combination of letters? If it's actually pronounced that way, then fix the spelling, and vice versa. Stop killing the language, people!
@sasukekid you are actually not correct. Byfuglien is a norwegian origin name that has its own pronunciation in Norwegian language, and it yields a strange English pronunciation. His own family pronounces it Buff-len, and announcers were corrected by Dustin when he first came on the scene, as they were originally saying it like Bih-fugh-li-en. It is in fact "Buff-len."
@CesarSnipezz I doubt they'll win a cup for at least 5 years. The last team to win a cup in their first year was Colorado, but they were a powerhouse team as the Quebec Nordiques anyway. This is the failing Atlanta Thrashers being given off to a city that actually plays hockey, so hopefully they'll do some good with them. If they catch other teams flat-footed, they could easily make the playoffs, but almost noone on that team has much experience, not even Pavelec. I think first round playoffs.

I just wish that people would stop saying "Bufflin" when they're talking about Dustin Byfuglien. It's pronounced the same as it's spelled, Bi-foo-glee-in. Fucking idiots who can't pronounce something over 2 syllables.
@sasukekid From what I've seen from videos on the past (I'm 15... so yeah I wasn't around) this city is very mature compared to they're unfortunate Canadian neighboring cities (as you mentioned Montreal and Vancouver)
I feel as if they're gonna win a cup, these Jets.
Ladies and gentlemen I give to you the Winnipeg fuckin Jets! Wooh!
