If you've ever admired the window displays along Saks 5th Avenue's flagship storefront over the last seventeen years you've seen Koji Yoshioka's work, but you probably haven't seen Koji. He spends most of his day down in the basement workroom, three levels below the ground floor, dressing mannequins in designer outfits he carefully puts together but admits he probably wouldn't wear himself. When he's not working, Koji plays chess and caters to his bossy cat Hana, which means "flower" in Japanese.

I'm an advertising major graduate but really want to get into visual merchandising as I have always been interested with being more creative. Thanks for this inspiring video...I hope to get into what he does too. :)

I'm glad someone tells a serious story about day to day and inside happenings about Visual Merchandising in a major store and not just funny stories about mannequins.
